Parking Enforcement - Recruitment Process




Recruitment Information
The Parking Enforcement Unit is a subdivision of the Traffic Enforcement Unit ensuring that the roadways are kept clear while also enforcing the parking laws set within the penal code made by the San Andreas State Court in order to keep the streets clean, safe and reduce the traffic flow and motor vehicle accidents. We are one of the more unique divisions within the San Andreas County Sheriff's Office to allow civilians to join the department as civilian staff without having to be a law enforcement officer.

All application titles should be titled in the following manner: "Forename Surname| Parking Enforcement Application"


Requirements
Upon applying for a position as a Parking Enforcement Operator, it is imperative that you meet the stated requirements. Should you be unsure of the requirements or need a query answered regarding the requirements - contact a member of the Recruitment Team or PEU Command Team (Commander Mike Miller OR Deputy Commander Raymond Cooper ) and we shall be able to assist you.

  • Must be 21+ years of age before submitting a Parking Operator application due to Health & Safety requirements.
  • Must have a high school diploma.
  • Must possess a standard General Vehicle License (GVL) - Its preferred if you have a Heavy Vehicle License (GVL-2) but not required.
  • Must be able to deal with situations with a calm and responsible attitude as you will be in a public-facing position.
  • Must have an open mind, cannot let your beliefs cloud your professional judgment.
  • Must show a great deal of dedication to the San Andreas County Sheriff's Office.
  • Must have a solid range of problem-solving skills.
  • Must be knowledgeable of the San Andreas Penal Code of Law.
  • Must have a clean criminal record, speeding or parking enforcement tickets may be discounted.
  • Must have an appropriate attitude and be able and willing to take commands.
  • Must be able to deal with stressful situations and work well in said environments.
  • Must have a fixed address of residence, a motel will suffice to provide as long as it is a long-term accommodation.
Operator Requirements




  • Must have an appropriate attitude towards fellow or higher officers.
  • Must be at least Level 3 on the character you are applying with.
  • Must be proficient in writing, and understanding the English language.
  • Must have a recent clean admin record, any kicks, jails or bans are taken seriously against you.
  • Must use TeamSpeak 3 even without a working microphone.
  • Must be able to work in an environment where situations can become stressful, and must be able to maintain a calm attitude when you get placed into one.
  • Must be able to stay active within the faction and dedicate time in paperwork.
  • Must be at least 13 years of age or older.

Recruitment Process
Stage 1 - Application

The first stage of the application process where you initially submit your application. Your application will be checked for any spelling, punctuation or grammar mistakes so it is critical that you make sure that you re-read over your application before sending it as it could get denied for the not meeting the basic English required for this unit. After checking the initial stages of checking for any spelling, punctuation or grammar mistakes we then go through the application to review the answers that you have provided in the application. This will be the deciding factor on whether you advance to the next stage of the Recruitment Process.

Stage 2 - Interview

The second stage of the recruitment process is the Interview stage. Your application has been approved and you have now been requested to do an interview, you must attend a face to face interview ((In-Game)). The answers you give within the interview will be noted along with the first impressions that you place on us so its best to be well prepared before your interview as it determines whether you will go on to the next stage or not.

Stage 3 - Training

At this stage you would have passed the interview and application stages and have been filtered down as being a suitable candidate for Parking Enforcement Unit. This stage you will be granted access to all our Parking Enforcement Documentation and given a divisional handbook that you are expected to learn. Throughout this stage, you will also learn the ins and outs of being a Parking Enforcement Operator and are taught the laws of San Andreas County Sheriff's Office to assist you while in the field helping the civilians of Red County. At the end, there will be a small knowledge test to ensure everything that you have learned has stuck with you, upon completing this you are then passed through to the next stage.

Stage 4 - Position Assignment & Position Brief

Congratulations, Finally you have passed all the stages of the recruitment process. Now you will get assigned a position within the unit and have a briefing about your position within the unit along with what is expected of you within the unit marking the start to a great career within the Parking Enforcement Unit and the San Andreas County Sheriffs Office.

Parking Enforcement - Reinstatement Process


Reinstatement Information
If you served in the department before as a Parking Enforcement Officer then you're allowed to reinstate unless told otherwise. This is made to make your recruitment process easier as you have proved to be fit for the department the first time. Under certain circumances the Parking Enforcement Command Team will require you to re-train or even be interviewed again. The position granted is based on your previous performance, record, rank as well as the current available spots in the unit.

All application titles should be titled in the following manner: "Forename Surname| Parking Enforcement Reinstatement"


Requirements
  • Must follow the regular recruitment requirements.
  • Must have been in the unit before for at least 15 days.
  • Must not be currently blacklisted.
  • Must have waited 7 days if an honorable discharge or 14 days if dishonorable discharge before reinstating in the department.

  • Must have an appropriate attitude towards fellow or higher officers.
  • Must be at least Level 3 on the character you are applying with.
  • Must be proficient in writing, and understanding the English language.
  • Must have a recent clean admin record, any kicks, jails or bans are taken seriously against you.

  • Must be able to work in an environment where situations can become stressful, and must be able to maintain a calm attitude when you get placed into one.
